The configuration file includes a list of trusted nodes of the blockchain network. Using this full listing of nodes helps to get more connections with the network. Especially it solves the "0 Connections" problem.

VeriCoin Wallet Configuration File

Download the latest VeriCoin wallet .conf file here.

Instructions for PC users

  1. Right click and save the following file: vericoin.conf
  2. Copy the vericoin.conf file you downloaded to the folder “%appdata%\vericoin”. If you have trouble finding this folder, paste the folder name between the quotations into an explorer window.
  3. Restart the wallet. You should see connections soon.

Instructions for Mac users
